Saawan Kumar Tak, filmmaker and lyricist, died in Mumbai on Thursday at the age of 86.
Filmmaker Saawan Kumar Tak, known for films like Sanam Bewafa and Souten, died on Thursday at a hospital in Mumbai, his nephew told media.

As per a PTI report, he breathed his last at 4:15 pm on Thursday.
“He passed away at 4:15pm due to heart failure. His heart had stopped functioning,” Navin, the filmmaker's nephew, told PTI.
Saawan Kumar Tak began his career as a producer on the 1967 film Naunihal.
